OUR LIFE IN YELLOWSTONE - Old Friend on a ROAD TRIP

We had a old friend visit us this summer on a road trip with his new Harley. Jon stopped at Sturis Motorcycle rally first and then headed over to see us in Yellowstone. We met Jon in Cody Wyoming at the famous Cody Hotel, Buffalo Bill Cody owned this when he had his wild west show.

Jon Made it to YELLOWSTONE

Jon and I had originally planed to camp on a remote campsite on the Yellowstone Lake. The
campsite was only assessable by a 1.5 hr boat trip and they dropped you off and picked you up the next day. Well we showed up to get on the boat and it was 40degrees, rain and 1 foot white caps on the lake, the captain did not recommend going! So we when down to Jackson Hole and camped there.




 

We camped near the Cunningham cabinnear the Tetons, woke up with the Tetons in front of us!

We took a hike to the Grand Prismatic Spring



Jon and I visited the HODO rocks at 1 in the morning to look for ghosts.
Legend has it Mt. man Jim Bridger camped here and saw ghosts at the full moon
