Vist from son - Ohio to Jackson Wyoming

Last week we had a really nice visit from our son Treavor who lives in Ohio.
He only had 3 days to visit us so he few right into Jackson Hole airport.
The one and only bad thing about this lifestyle is being far from family and friends. It was so good to see him again after 8 months!

We spent 3 full days of activity and started off with an awesome raft ride down the Snake river , then to Jenny Lake to Hike to Hidden Falls then on to the incredible Jackson Lake Lodge for the night.
The Lodge has a million dollar view with excellent food service, a very nice pool, the rooms were very nice but not 5 star, as the rates were 5 star $350 a night!

We woke up and took off for Yellowstone National Park early the next day, we stopped at everyones favorite stop Old Faithful and took in the Geyser going off on the balcony of the Inn. We also walked around the boardwalks for a look at some of the smaller pools and mudpots. We spent a few hours there and headed over the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and then headed south back to Jackson, over 250 miles of driving that day!

Waiting for his plane to arrive, that's how you depart the plane!

Like everything else in Jackson, a first class Airport

Our son has landed in Jackson Hole
Took at wagon train from town with the Bar-T Ranch, we did this same ride 35 years ago when our son was 5 years old. Then you followed the wagons with horses.

You rode to the back canyons of Jackson and the Bar-T has a huge meal and dinner show for everyone

Just another day in Paridise - WORKING in the nicest NP visitor center ever

Geni and I have been in The Tetons a little over a Month now. It has been an adjustment for us working 40 hours a week. We spent a wonderful winter in Arizona and have not worked for over 8 months. Standing on our feet all day takes some getting used too! We pretty much have been getting off work and coming home to eat and bed. That's why I have not been updating our blog.

We have been blessed to work in the most beautiful National Park visitor center I have ever been in, and I have been in a few!
The Craig Thomas visitor center link : http://enjoyyourparks.com/GrandTetonParkMooseJunction.html

Geni and I work in the Gift shop for the Grand Teton Association which is a non profit organization and gives all profits back to the park. Link:  https://www.grandtetonpark.org/  Grand Teton Association helps fund a wide variety of projects and programs for Grand Teton National Park, the National Elk Refuge, and the Bridger-Teton National Forest , U.S. forest system, U.S. Fish and Wildlife. We are working with a really great organization and with lots of great folks.
