JAS - Jackson Air Station - Home of the BLUE ANGLES

Geni and I have been getting in our routine for the winter here at Crooked River State Park,Ga.
We work 3 days a week cleaning campsites and have 4 days off. We have been out exploring the area now for a couple of months now. I just have not been motivated to post our results, the weather has not been great but ok, we have rode out hurricane Michael, a tornado touched down a mile from here and rain in excess of 2 inches every weekend and temps in the 60's have not been ideal. Today it is in the 70's and not too bad!
One of the first events we attended was the annual air show put on by the BLUE ANGLES Here in Jacksonville, FL at the Naval Air station JAS (This is their Home base) that is 20 miles from us here in Ga. It is so cool to be on their home air base that is only open to the public once a year for this air show. This area has a large concentration of Military Mostly Naval and Marines, There is a Nuclear sub base right next to our park but not open to the public. You do see many Marines and sailor's in uniform in town here in St. Marys.
