We finally made it to Cody Wyoming on April 25th, 2017. We found out the East entrance to Yellowstone was still closed due to many feet of snow still on ground. It was not due to Open until May 12th so we had to go all the way north and head down route 287 to get to the west entrance that was open. We drove thru a snow storm and finally made it to West Yellowstone on the 28th of April.
It was a long 2,900 mile trip from Bushnell, FL. to Cody! We hit a wind storm out in the Middle of nowhere in Wy. that blew the cover off the pickup and hit the front of the travel trailer. Thank God no other damage!
