PETRIFIED FOREST NATIONAL PARK - A Meteor

The last part of our 450 mile loop around Navajo Nation started in Petrified Forest National Park. We arrived there on March 31st and spent 3 days exploring the park. We were here 35 years ago with our son and it looks pretty much as I remember it. In dinosaur times this was once a fertile ocean valley with many types of life and vegetation. Its Possible when the meteor hit that IT changed everything!
